Homemade Crayolas

My little sister Sunshine made these with her kids awhile ago and we came across some old and broken crayons. I love to peel off the wrappers and so does Ryan and so he helped me peel most of the crayons. He used his "super sharp shark teeth" to take the paper off of some of them and so before we melted them, quite a few of them had teeth marks in them. I don't know if you can see that in the pics or not but I thought it was super cute. They turned out great and the kids love them. So if you need a rainy day activity...

Peel all paper off crayons.
Break into small pieces.
Load into muffin tins... Cute shaped ones would be cool.
Bake at 200-250 till melted.
Cool and pop out of tins.
NO LINERS NEEDED!

How are you supposed to color with those? I guess it was probably fun to play with anyway. We used to melt crayons on the metal strip along the floor of our Suburban because it got really hot on long road trips.

Seriously, crayons and legos played a much larger role in my upbringing than you would think...

We made those one year and put them in a heart mold and gave them out as Valentines Day gifts...Super cute!! Look how crafty you are! Man, you're close to WOmen of the Year!
P.S. Toupe is spelled ToupeE...It has one extra E. I always remember that because someone that wants hair would always want the extra E so kind of like an extra hair...Anyways...who really care how it spells. I'm just jealous that he has that much hair...So SO LUCKY!!!

So that's what I can make with all of the crayons that Olivia likes to break in pieces. Thanks, darling!

So I just saw your pictures from London's run. This is funny, but at the beginning before I had to stop and walk for a little bit you are the girl I was keeping pace with. Which if I would've been able to run the whole time I would've finished right with you because 60 minutes was my original goal.

After the race I told Rob that I was stay just behind a girl with a black shirt and pink long sleeves on, he told me that, that girl passed him at the very end. Then I look at your blog and find out that it was you! TOO funny!

I'll be there next year too so I'll see you there!

What a good idea! I'll have to try that! Question, Favor? We are having our taxes done on the 25th of February at 10:00 out in Coolidge. Just wondering if little Ryan wanted a play date for an hour that morning? If you can't or won't be there...no worries...we can just take them with us-- I just thought I would shoot the idea out! Talk to you soon!
