What the...? I have the worst luck!

So I have to explain....

My friend Lori and I have a standing date every Wednesday night to watch Project Runway. So I had to run somewhere real quick and I haven't been driving the Excursion much lately. Needless to say, her car was behind the Excursion... she wasn't really hurt, but this makes for a great picture!

So I didn't have a flashlight at the house and we needed one to check out the real damage. I had initially been on my way to my friends house anyway (Brooke and Eric Garner) so I figured I would inconspicuously borrow a flashlight from them. They came to help remove the last thread of bumper that was hanging on and thought it would be funny for Nathan to come home to this.

I am honestly wondering if my luck will ever change or if I will keep finding bullshit ways to spend $500 every few months. I need to figure out about 500 ways to say "I'm sorry... " really quick!

As soon as you figure out how to change your luck let me know cuz I have the same problem! LOL! If you haven't checked out this blog you should
www.seriouslysoblessed.blogspot.com

It reminds me of when we were all in school & how "perfect" our lives were back in the day...

You know, they really shouldn't make bumpers so that they fall off so easily. I blew a tire once, and shards of my car went flying all over the road, including my front bumper. I was too poor/lazy to fix it, so I just counted on the wind from my speeding to keep my disconnected bumper on. Although everytime I had to hit my brakes abruptly, it would fall off again in the middle of the street. Finally I used an old wire hanger to "fix" it permanently. That same thing happened to Tara. Now even SUVs are falling apart. WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO?!?!! WHATEVER HAPPENED TO RUNNING INTO STUFF WITHOUT DAMAGING OUR CARS?!?!! Damn it.

Awesome picture Lori and I also love how it was set up for Nathan to come home to. That's a bumper... OH, I mean a bummer! I think the only reason it probably happened is because everyone - including me - has been cussing you for the absence of updates - so all that energy had to create quite an incident for you to finally get back on the blog wagon again. Love ya! Sorry about the oopsy.

You are absolutely hilarious . . .I died laughing and felt bad for you all at the same time. At least no one was hurt, except for your pride of course! I love you, keep doing all the wild and zany things that make you so "sonda". . .

We finally switched to Allstate. Don't you know about "accident forgiveness?" Ha! I have needed it long before now.

You are a "wreck"!! LOL Seriously it's those dang SUV's there too big. It's not our fault that small cars are always parking behind us. I've hit two in the last 7mo. totalled there cars and not a scratch on mine. Anyway, I don't think you should have to pay anything. All SUV's should have disclaimers on the back that says it's not our fault if way suddenly back into you. Get the Hell out of the Way!!!!

Ahhh I find comfort that I am not alone. I did that (well not as bad but...) to Patrick's work truck. He still gives me crap to this day. oh and that is how we met our neighbors across the street in our house now. My not so happy husband had to introduce himself to them by saying "Hi we live across the street and my wife just hit your car. Maybe that is why he put me in a car this time????

here is my idea for the picture of Lori, frame it, hang it on the wall, and call it a Hunting Trophy". Nathan is a hunter and knows those trophy's cost way more than $500!

Funniest thing happened Friday, I was talking to our speech therapist about getting a dent in the truck, and she started talking about being backed into and the bumper falling off, well guess what! It was your friend Lori, who is also the boys' therapist. It's a small, small world!
