Four score and seven years ago...
Ok... maybe not that long ago but it has been a while ago that we started reading the Book of Mormon as a family. We did not finish it in one year, or two, or THREE... but somewhere after that we finished and we are feeling pretty groovy. Now its on to the PGP and then a restart of the BOM. The taste of progress is DIVINE. :)

You should start the Bible. That way you won't ever have to read another book of scripture before all of your kids are moved out of the house. Plus you'll get to explain all sorts of interesting things like what it means to "spill your seed" and "lie with your father" and "spike through his temples".
